Tourism Sector

The tourism sector in Bosnia & Herzegovina has an unusual range of natural, cultural, and historical attractions. These assets, together with the country’s geographic accessibility, provide great potential to attract visitors. Foreign tourist arrivals have approximately doubled over the past five years, and the tourism sector accounts for at least five percent of BiH GDP. The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) predicts that the earnings from international visitors and tourism goods could generate 15% of BiH exports by 2019.
